Sumit, Who?
A full-time writer/editor, part-time poet, and eternal procrastinator (still “thinking” about starting that poetry storytelling IG page). Currently pursuing my Master’s in English Literature from L.P.U, Punjab, I first fell for words during Bachelor’s, while casually penning poems, hosting open-mics, and curating content for my college magazine.
Fiction and poetry? My first love. While I write across genres, my expertise lies in exploring thoughtful fiction, nonfiction, and poetry—and sometimes convincing others to read them too. My favourites? Think You Only Live Once and The Forty Rules of Love for fiction, or Neruda and A.L Tennyson for poetry.
My writing is a blend of simplicity, creativity, wit, and detail, often carrying traces of the works I’ve read here and there. Fun fact? Two of my poetry pieces are published in anthologies like ‘A Writer Was Born’ and ‘Silence in Chaos’ which went on to become Amazon Best Sellers.
Oh, and when I’m not writing or reading a book, you’ll find me geeking out over cricket, or looking for a plate of spicy Chinese. Also coming from Varanasi, I know Bhojpuri all too well.
